Cinco De Mayo Safety

Today is Cinco De Mayo, the 5th of May, and parties are planned to celebrate. For many that means street parties and alcohol. The police and highway patrol are on alert today and tonight looking for impaired drivers. If you're going to a party and plan on drinking, have a designated driver or call a cab or ride service to get home. The annual Cinco de Mayo festival in Roseland, has been canceled, for the 2nd year in a row, due to the pandemic. 2019 was the last year it took place. (photo courtesy Patch)
